The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Mrs. Barbara Henley at 9:06 a.m.

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

 

Prior to Call to Order Supervisor Henley appointed Deputy Clerk Mrs. Stacy Cleggett.

 

Supervisor Barb Henley-Present, Treasurer Charles Stoll-Present, Clerk Lewis Irby Jr.-Absent.

 

Motion by Stoll, supported by Henley, moved to accept the agenda as presented.

New Business

 

1.)  Appoint Election Workers for School Election on May 5th, 2009

It was decided to approve those in attendance to work the full shift on May 5th, 2009

Mrs. Ruth Russell Chair, Mrs. Rosemary McCrea Co Chair, Mrs. Christine Jackson, Mrs. Joanne Darling, Mrs. Twana Lee, and Mr. Theodore O’Dell will work full schedule for the School Election May 5th, 2009.

 

Clerk Lewis Irby Jr. arrived at 9:12 a.m. with apologies.

 

Motion by Stoll, supported by Henley, to support the appointing of six Election Workers for the School Election on May 5th , 2009; Mrs. Ruth Russell Chair, Mrs. Rosemary McCrea Co Chair, Mrs. Christine Jackson, Mrs. Joanne Darling, Mrs. Twana Lee, and Mr. Theodore O’Dell to work all day.

2.) Discuss Election Workers Schedule for May 5th, 2009

It was decided to have Mrs. Emma Matias, Mrs. Shirley Hnidy, and Mrs. Donna Straub scheduled as relief persons

 

Motion by Stoll, supported by Henley to schedule Mrs. Emma Matias, Mrs. Shirley Hnidy, and Mrs. Donna Straub as relief persons for the May 5th, 2009 School Election.

3.)  Set Date for Public Accuracy Test

Clerk Irby set the date for the Public Accuracy Test for Tuesday, April 28th, 2009 at 10:00 a.m.

 

Motion by Irby, supported by Henley, to set the date for the Public Accuracy Test for Tuesday, April 28th, 2009 at 10:00 a.m.

Motion by Irby, supported by Stoll to amend the Agenda to include item #4 the Approval of the previous months Election Commission Meeting minutes.

4.)  Approval of the previous months Election Commission Meeting minutes.

The Board approved the drafts of minutes from December 18, 2007 and January 17, 2009 Election Commission Meeting Minutes.  It was noted that October 07, 2008 Minutes will have to be approve at the next Election Commission Meeting.

 

Motion by Irby, supported by Henley, to approve the December 18, 2007 Election Commission Meeting Minutes.
