Election Commission Meeting
December 18, 2007
Minutes
The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Mrs. Barbara Henley at 10:18.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Treasurer Charles Stoll-Present, Supervisor Barb Henley-Present, Clerk Lewis Irby Jr.-Present.
1). Approval of
election committee workers for January 15, 2008 Primary Election.
Clerk Irby read the list of election inspectors; Barbara Cunningham, Barbara Henley, Shirley Hnidy, Rosemary McCrea, Beverly Muzzin, Christine Jackson, Ruth Russell and Donna Straub.
Motion by Stoll, support by Irby, to approve the eight election inspectors.

Clerk Irby stated that new batteries were purchased for the auto mark cards. His office has received the election kits and the Absentee ballots. All deadlines are being met.
Clerk Irby discussed the handling of absent voters.
2). Election Workers
Schedule
A meeting was set for the election workers.
Motion by Stoll, support by Irby, to set the meeting for next Tuesday December 25th, 2007.
Motion amended to change the date to December 29th, 2007 at 10:00 am.

3). Discuss Election
Election Inspector Appointment Notification Requirement was discussed. Stoll stated that he would email the Democratic and Republican party chairmen.
Citizen’s Time: Opened at 10:37 a.m. Closed at 10:39 a.m. The number of election workers working, the Supervisor working during election, and the public accuracy test, were the topics discussed during citizen’s time.
Motion by Stoll, support by Irby to adjourn.
